The Kiwanis Club of Burbank Continues Support of Music Programs at Burbank High School

December 2017 Burbank, CA. The Kiwanis Club of Burbank has been a strong supporter of music education in Burbank for many years. It all began decades ago, when the Burbank Band program was not yet the powerhouse it is today – our members seeded the growth of the band by providing instruments.

Marsha Jackson Presents Burbank High School instrumental music Director David Koltzie with the Club’s Annual Donation.

Through the years, due to the generosity or Club members, community members and Burbank Businesses, The Kiwanis Club was able to put into the yearly budget a yearly donation to Burbank High School Music Programs.

As is now a yearly custom, the club welcomed representatives from both the Vocal and Instrumental departments of Burbank High School in December 2017.

On December 6th, members of the BHS Orchestra , and on December 13th member of In Sync Show Choir visited our club and performed for our members!

At each visit, each BHS Music Director received a donation of $1500 for a total Donation of $3000 to the Burbank High School Music Programs. This represents our yearly donation to those programs.

Club support does not end there. Club members attend performances and participate in fundraisers for Burbank High School Music including VMA’s Night of Magic!

The Kiwanis Club of Burbank is proud to support many youth programs in and around Burbank! Kiwanis Motto is:

Serving the children of the world, one child at a time.

If you would like to support our efforts in Burbank please consider joining our club or donating to our many causes.
