2009 Gala honoring Patrick Wayne.

On Saturday, August 8, 2009 at it's 12th Annual Gala, the Kiwanis Club of Burbank honored
Patrick Wayne for his work with the Sunshine Kids Foundation.
He helped create the first California Fun-Time Fantasy in 1989.

The Sunshine Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer.
Established in 1982, they are committed to providing positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids provides a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America.

For his dedication to this wonderful cause, the Kiwanis Club of Burbank presented Patrick and his Sunshine Kids Charity a check in the amount of $ 5,000.00.  Marsha Jackson Chairman of the Gala presented Patrick with the check.

Club Members and friends of Kiwanis had a wonderful time and they enjoyed the casual cowboy theme.
